retire

Hello, It's been a long time since I managed this wiki and now I want to make it official that I will retire from this wiki, I may want toa add something here from time to time but only as a regular user, not as an admin.

Some one please make my user status as a regular user.

Thank you

Organization

This might seem like an obvious question to some, but is there a reason why so many articles have categories/pages devoted to them? It seems that there's hundreds upon hundreds of pages that could be consolidated. For instance, on the Anchovies article, every header links to a separate category, when this information could simply be its own section on the Anchovies article. It looks like user Vampiric.Media mademostof these edits - is this something we should be talking about? Shawn (talk) 23:52, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Yams vs Sweet Potatoes

I am originally from Mississippi, now living in Canada. What IS the difference in a yam and a sweet potatoe? lol -- I also travel to Jamaica and their "yams" there are quite different as well...is there a difference? For I purchase "yams" in CA and they are very tiny and white inside, as in Jamaica, they are huge and white inside. In the South, "sweet potatoes" are small and orange inside, whereas in CA the "sweet potatoes" that they claim come out of Louisiana, are absolutely HUGE! Help, for this is driving me crazy!!! By the way, I love them all!!! And, have introduced some new Southern recipes to my Canadian friends and family! Thanks!!!

This article should answer your question. The difference between yams and sweet potatoes should probably be mentioned in the yam and sweet potato articles. Elocina 00:31, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Sea Trout

I am a new member to Wiki. I cannot, cannot find a recipe for seatrout and my husband has just brout home his limit of them. Aside from the normal fry in butter, does anybody out there have something original, different that they have tried? Thank you. terrymcmorran@yahoo.com
